  • Jan 1, 1963

    After graduating from The University of Dayton in 1963, Bob started selling life insurance for Aetna.

  • Jan 1, 1972

    In 1972, Bob opened Robert K. Jones Insurance Agency in the Oakwood business district.

  • Jan 1, 1986

    In 1986, Bob’s oldest son, Kevin, joined the agency selling all lines of insurance and building his clientele.

  • Jan 1, 1990

    In 1990, Bob’s oldest daughter, Colleen, joined the agency to handle the Accounting and Finances. 

  • Jan 1, 1998

    In 1999, Bob & Kevin hired Dan Bitler as an intern from Wright State University to develop the agency’s automation system. 

  • Jan 1, 2014

    In 2014, Robert K. Jones Insurance Agency was ranked 5th largest local Independent Insurance Agency in the Miami Valley.

     

  • Jan 1, 2020

    In 2020, Robert K Jones Insurance Agency upgraded its offices and relocated to a new building.
